The Friends of the Rancho Bernardo Library 2026-2027 Concert Season Schedule
As the cultural center of the Rancho Bernardo community, our library offers varied programs, materials, and other opportunities for enrichment. Because the San Diego Library budget is limited, the Friends of the RB Library Organization steps in to provide valuable financial support. For over 50 years, our mission has been to ensure the RB Library receives the assistance it needs. Please take a moment to explore this website to learn more about us, and ways to contribute.
Jerry Peterson Bookshop
Our primary source of income comes from the sale of donated books, CD’s, DVD’s and other materials in the Jerry Peterson Bookshop. Membership in the FOL includes access to our Members Only Lending Library of bestsellers located in the bookshop and 50% off purchases every day. Consider becoming a member to enjoy these privileges!
Tuesdays are half-price days for all customers.

Each month except January we purchase up to ten current best sellers for our Lending Library. These books are exclusively for our members and can be checked out for a two-week period. Go to the Top Stories Page to view the current list.
Go to the Join Page if you would like to take advantage of our library. We need volunteers to help staff the Bookshop during Library hours. Send an email to volunteer or drop by our bookshop at the library.
Shop hours are subject to change due to volunteer availability. If you would like to volunteer with the Friends of the Rancho Bernardo Library, please give your name and contact information to the volunteer on duty or to a library staff member.
